Walter GB boosts its customer-facing expertise

Tooling specialist Walter GB has made two newly-created strategic staff appointments in its process to offer an improved customer-facing operation across its business.

Maria Martin has been appointed as the channel manager for the company’s distribution network and Lorraine Daley is stepping into the role of UK marketing.

“Our two recent appointments will not only reinforce the highest professional and engineering standards offered to our customers but the roles represented by Maria and Lorraine also represent important milestones in the implementation of Walter GB’s sales strategy.”

Ms Martin brings more than 10 years of senior management experience, joining the company after spending the latter six years as UK business development manager in the tooling sector where her role embraced the management of national distribution key accounts. Her new role will facilitate the development of Walter GB’s partnerships with key distributors across the UK channel landscape.

Ms Daley joins Walter GB after eight years with a major tooling supplier, including three years’ involvement in strategic marketing campaigns.

With vast experience of working with multi-functional sales and marketing teams on pan-Europe marketing campaigns, Ms Daley brings adeptness to the role in all forms of marketing tools, including digital and social media platforms.

He will use traditional and digital marketing strategies to promote Walter GB’s commercial strategy, to plan and execute all marketing-associated elements of product launches.
