T W Ward CNC Machinery has announced key appointments that will enhance the customer-endorsed levels of service provided from the machine tool supplier.

Heading up the newly shaped department in the position of head of service and operations is new appointment, Nigel Hudson.

Mr Hudson brings with him over 30 years of expertise across the manufacturing and engineering sectors including mechanical and electrical service experience for a major machine tool manufacturer.

Speaking of his appointment, Mr Hudson commented: “It's a privilege to be working alongside such a dedicated team of talented and passionate individuals. I can see from the first few days of working here that that team’s prime focus is providing our customers with the upmost support, and I am looking forward to working closer with the team and our valued customers to build these relationships further.”

Mr Hudson’s appointment provides a significant boost for Ward CNC’s senior management team, working alongside head of technical engineering Mario De Vito, whose role includes the management of Ward CNC’s technical support team responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers.

Discussing the technical capabilities at Ward CNC, Mr De Vito said: “Our technical offering has proven to be a key consideration for customers we have spoken to when discussing their CNC machines.

“Whether it be our office based technical support team or our national team of Field- Service Engineers, our multi-disciplined mechanical and electrical teams are well placed to serve and give the upmost priority to our customers’ installation, routine service, and breakdown requirements.”

This new structure will continue to give a high-level focus on customer demand and response times across Ward CNC’s customer base in the UK and Irish Republic.

Commenting on the new structure, Managing Director Simon Whitworth states. “We are pleased to welcome Nigel to the company to further improve what we believe is one of the strongest levels of engineering support available in the industry today.

This customer support extends to the expertise from working so closely with the principal manufacturers the company exclusively represent in the UK and Ireland, notably Hyundai-Wia, Hartford, Soraluce, Takisawa and Hankook.
