Ward Hi-Tech has been appointed by Halbronn Machine Tools as sole UK agents for the OKK range of high precision vertical, horizontal and 5-axis machining centres.

Sheffield-based CNC machine tool specialist

Halbronn, one of the largest machine tool suppliers in France, is the principal OKK distributor for a number of European countries and has been looking to strengthen and harmonise the OKK dealer network throughout its territories. OKK and Halbronn have worked together for some 30 years.

“We are extremely pleased to be partnering Ward Hi-Tech – a leading UK CNC machine tool dealer with a long established and loyal customer base,” commented Nicolas Budrino, Halbronn's sales export manager.
“Ward Hi-Tech's ability to provide a highly knowledgeable and technically competent sales approach coupled with their strong aftersales service and support team really influenced our decision in making this very important appointment,” he continued.

“The UK is a very important marketplace for OKK and I am sure that Ward Hi-Tech will be more than capable of growing additional business and providing first class service and support to existing OKK customers throughout the country.”

Mike Burke, Ward Hi-Tech's UK sales manager added: “The addition of OKK to our product portfolio really enhances our existing machining centre range and enables us to provide a very high specification, top end option. The OKK brand has been well received for many years now. We are very aware that there are many multi-user OKK customers throughout the UK who are extremely loyal to the product and will continue to include OKK machining centres on their wish list when next investing in new machine tools.”

Built in Japan, the OKK portfolio includes heavy-duty and high speed vertical and horizontal machining centres with X-axis travels from 600mm up to 3,500mm, together with a varied range of vertical and horizontal 5-axis models to a diverse range of precision parts for high technology sectors such as aerospace, automotive, medical and oil and gas.
