As a time served engineer, Mr Stokes has over 15 years' experience and has recently completed the Haas induction programme which included intensive training at the company's USA headquarters in California. Mr Stokes will be covering the South West of the country.

I'm delighted that Matt has decided to join the team, and I'm sure his extensive expertise in the CNC machinery will bring him every success.”

He continued: “Haas is continually investing in our award winning back-up service and this is a key factor in driving our sales. We fully appreciate that by keeping our existing customers happy we will create more sales. People in the machine tool industry talk to each other and this word of mouth approach works in two ways: negatively marking your name, or sustaining and generating successful partnerships.

We employ 32 strategically located engineers who drive purpose built Mercedes Vito vans with each carrying £38,000 worth of common parts. Because we install more CNC machine tools that any other supplier, we monitor and grow our engineering department accordingly, ensuring we can maintain the high levels of service our customers expect.

“Furthermore, we can now announce that a Haas engineer is within a 1.5 hour travel time of 95% of our machines, so customers can rest assured that on those rare occasions when a machine does need special attention, the right part is never far away and we will usually resolve any issues in one visit,” he concluded.
