An evolution for cleaning

Gloucestershire based parts washing specialist MecWash Systems will be showcasing its new MWX400 component cleaning machine at MACH 2016.

The MWX400 component cleaning system is a natural evolution of the MecWash Midi system, hundreds of which are currently used by blue chip organisations across the engineering sector. Though the key features and durability of the Midi have been retained, the new MWX400 offers enhanced functionality and technical specification to meet the highest standards of precision engineering cleaning.

MecWash’s managing director John Pattison, explains: “The MWX400 is designed to be a versatile workhorse for engineering sectors where high standards of cleanliness are required. Alongside the core functionality of the Midi - rotational wash qand rinse, immersion and spray, hot air and vacuum drying - the MWX400 offers a number of additional features such as six face spray capability, doubled ultrasonic power and a high volume rinse tank.

“The design updates also simplify maintenance and support, for example all pumps, heaters and sensors are mounted in the top of the tanks which enable fast access, without draining tanks; using transparent electrical panel doors allows easier monitoring and the PLC, I/O Link and Router combination allow insightful remote diagnostics or integration with customer systems.

“MACH will provide us with the best platform to launch the new MWX400 and showcase its advanced capability to both existing and potential clients from across the UK and further afield,” he adds.

Alongside the new MWX400, MecWash will also be showcasing the Duo best-selling wash system, which is particularly popular in the automotive and aerospace industries thanks to its versatile functionality, modest footprint and good value.

Mr Pattison continues: “We know that committing to significant capital investment is a big decision that can often have substantial lead times. Attending events like MACH can have real benefits as we can talk to customers in a relaxed environment and show them our latest developments. This will be the sixth time we have exhibited at MACH and the 2014 show was so successful for us that we have booked a larger stand for this year.”

With a customer list that includes the likes of JCB, Perkins, Delphi, TRW, UTC, Meggitt, Selex, Renishaw, SKF, Hydraforce and Parker, the outlook for MecWash is looking bright for 2016.

MecWash will be on stand 5468 in Hall 5.
