ETG’s technical team continues to grow

CNC machine tool and manufacturing solutions provider, Engineering Technology Group (ETG), has announced the appointment of Steven Howes to the role of applications and presales technical engineer.

Mr Howes will be based at the Group Headquarters in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, and will have responsibility for the North England region.

He joins ETG with more than 15 years’ experience as a CNC machine tool engineer and team leader. Before joining ETG he was employed by Thomas Brown Engineering, a sub-contract machine shop based in Huddersfield, where he managed a team of apprentices.

Mr Howes said: “I am looking forward to working with the high performance machines that ETG supplies to their customers. They are a great team to work for – very highly regarded in the industry, and I am looking forward to the challenges this new role will offer me.”

ETG managing director, Martin Doyle added: “We are delighted to welcome Steven. He joins ETG at a time when we are expanding our technical team to deliver greater value-added systems for our many UK and Ireland customers. He will be a valuable asset.”
