Investment continues at the Fuchs Lubricants Hanley plant as enhancements and refurbishments have now been completed in the R&D Technical Centre.

Dr Christine Fuchs, vice president global research & development, was invited to officially open the centre and marked the occasion by ceremonially cutting a ribbon on the entrance doors.

Paul Littley, executive manager - R&D who has overseen the project said: “This is an exciting time for us. It represents a significant investment for the R&D department and will have fantastic benefits for the business. This elevates Fuchs UK in terms of the technical R&D support we can offer existing, new and prospective customers.”

Fuchs is a global group with German roots that has developed and manufactured a wide range of lubricants and cutting fluids across a multitude of applications and sectors for more than 85 years. With 58 companies and more than 5,000 employees worldwide, Group claims it is the leading independent supplier of lubricants.

Across the UK, the team has more than 300 specialists working with customers.
