Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller, chief executive officer of Trumpf, commented: “Despite ongoing difficult conditions, we achieved an outstanding fiscal year in our centennial. Nevertheless, we have been witnessing a decline in orders in recent months due to the global economic slowdown. As such, we are entering the new fiscal year with due caution in spite of a solid order book.”
The group’s headcount has now risen to around 17,900, including some 8,800 employees in Germany; approximately 5,800 work at the company’s headquarters in Ditzingen.
