ITC extends range with new agreement

ITC has been appointed by the Kennametal/Widia Group to become the sole UK agent for all of the company's round tooling products.

Industrial Tooling Corp (ITC) has been appointed by the Kennametal/Widia Group to become the sole UK agent for all of the company's round tooling products. ITC has enjoyed a longstanding distribution agreement with Kennametal; however the re-structuring of the Kennametal/Widia Group will now see ITC take responsibility for a broader range of products from the company.

Under the new appointment, ITC will be tasked with the sales and technical support of the Hanita, Rubig, Metal Removal, Metcut and Greenfield product ranges. This cooperation will add further milling cutters, taps, dies, drills and reamers to the already extensive ITC brand of products. Whilst ITC will be supporting this range, Vargus Tooling UK will be the distribution arm for the Widia range of indexable insert tooling.

Commenting on the new appointment, ITC's managing director, Peter Graves affirmed: "We have worked with Kennametal for a number of years supporting their product ranges in the UK. This extended arrangement not only highlights the confidence the group has in a partnership that has historically worked very well – it also gives us a range of high quality products that complement the existing range of ITC cutting tools.”
