Iscar has introduced the new Chatterfree ECA-H3-CF-C, three flute solid carbide endmill range,

g a modified helix for the efficient machining of aluminium. The cutting tools are designed for both roughing and finishing operations and feature an excellent chatter dampening capability.
As each of the new endmills’ three flutes feature a coolant hole directed to the workpiece, when used with a cooling fluid supply, the new tools are ideal for the full slot machining of aluminium up to 2XD.

The Chatterfree range is particularly suitable for improving aluminium material removal rates, and for eliminating unwelcome vibrations when used on low power machines with ISO40 or BT40 adaptations. The advanced new products maximise stock removal rate and reduce cycle time in most milling operations, whilst their ground and polished geometry provide high quality bottom and side surface finishes.

The endmills are available in a diameter range from 6-25mm, with corner radii of 0.2mm and a milling depth to endmill diameter ratio of 2XD. Each tool diameter is available with 3xD and 5xD neck relief.
