Like father like son

Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of Doosan machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has appointed Steve Nash as its new business manager in the south east.

Mr Nash joined Mills at the start of February 2012 following 12 successful years in machine tool sales and service roles. “We are delighted to have Steve on board,” commented Mills' managing director, Nick Frampton. “He brings a wealth of experience, expertise and knowledge to the post and to our company.”

Coincidentally, Mr Nash has taken over the position from his father Mike Nash, who occupied the post for the last six years, and who will be retiring in June 2012.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Nash said: “I am excited by the move to Mills. In my previous employment I used to come up against Mills regularly, and I know that their offering of Doosan technology backed by Mills' aftersales service and support is formidable and is difficult to beat.

“I'm looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead and am delighted to have joined such a progressive company.”
