Long-term appointment

Geoff Gartland has been appointed company director of Prospec Systems.

Mr Gartland has been with the company for 15 years and is a familiar face to customers in his longstanding technical support role. He has responsibility for all aspects of development and technical support for PSL DataTrack's production management and business administration software.

The appointment underlines Prospec Systems' long-term commitment to its DataTrack customers. Since its inception in 1988, the company has grown steadily and continually developed the software in response to demands from existing customers and also to attract new clients from both the traditional engineering subcontractor sector and other markets.

New customers bring new challenges and as a director Mr Gartland will play a leading role in shaping the future growth of the company. He will continue in his customer technical support role, but also use his extensive experience to ensure the continued success of the company – including the rollout of the new DataTrack 2012 system.

Jim Kelly, managing director of Prospec Systems, commented: “Geoff's appointment will be well received by our DataTrack users and it gives us a strong, stable platform for growth through continuity in the development of the company and its products.”
