Despite the uncertain economic climate, the company reports that its bespoke manufacturing and precision engineering services have proved more popular than ever this year.
Kevin Ward, joint director affirmed: “Like many companies, we've endured a tough couple of years but we held onto our employees and all worked as hard to turn things around. As a result, 2010 has ended as our best trading year ever on record.”
In fact increased demand for the company's bespoke manufacturing services has proved has resulted in its in-house design recently being expanded to include two new trainee design engineers.
Brown & Holmes operates as a subcontractor for the three main machine tool builders in the UK, as well as supplying directly to a large number of local, national and international customers.
