As the use of machine vision systems in manufacturing environments continues to expand so does component inspection technology, says Hampshire-based MultiPix Imaging. Latest 3D machine vision software and megapixel cameras are more robust, reliable and powerful than ever before, allowing for solutions where inspection systems would simply not have been possible previously. At MACH, vision experts, MultiPix Imaging, will highlight two inspection tasks: a robot demonstrating automatic 3D orientation pick and place of automotive parts and; a sheet of light demonstration showing the 3D profiling of an object on a production line.
