Calibration specialist Trescal has advanced to Supply Chain 21 (SC21) Silver status.

The award recognises the progress the company has made in terms of business performance and delivery, as well as the quality of relationships established with customers and the wider supply chain.

SC21 is a change programme that is designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors by helping to improve the supply chain. With special attention from the company’s operational teams, supported by its main sponsor Thales UK, Trescal was able to reach and maintain the agreed delivery, quality and sustainability improvement targets laid down within the SC21 standards.

This award reflects Trescal’s focus on customer service, sustained delivery of fast turnaround times, as well as innovation and productivity, all of which have contributed to the Silver status recognition.

James Sherlock, key accounts manager at Trescal UK, said “This will be the second year that Trescal has sustained an SC21 award and to have now reached silver is a fantastic achievement. Many congratulations to our teams in the UK who have been instrumental in achieving this recognition – and a further thank you to our main sponsor Thales UK.”
