WNT open house confirms market confidence

WNT (UK)'s series of open houses continued with an event held at XYZ Machine Tools' Waltham Abbey showroom. The series, which started before the MACH exhibition, has drawn good numbers

of visitors and confirms the confidence that WNT is seeing in the UK subcontracting sector.

“Our sales growth has been extremely good in the first six months of our financial year,” revealed Glenn Stanton, WNT's UK and Ireland sales manager. “We are seeing customer confidence increase as their order books fill, with many now working overtime again and, encouragingly looking to invest in new cutting tools and machine tools. These open houses, held in partnership with XYZ Machine Tools, have mirrored what we are seeing on the shopfloor with good levels of enquiries and new business being developed.”
This relationship between WNT, with its extensive range of cutting tools, and XYZ Machine Tools is set to develop, with WNT supporting XYZ at its forthcoming open houses, ensuring that visitors get to see the latest in tooling technology under live cutting conditions.

“The ability to combine machine and cutting tool technology in the same event gives us a real advantage when discussing the performance benefits of new cutting tool developments,” Mr Stanton added. “The synergies between our customers and those of XYZ are also a very positive aspect of this partnership.”
