Wogaard will be showcasing its portfolio of innovative coolant oil saving solutions with live demonstrations at the show.

Demonstrating the impact that coolant reclaim has on the business bottom line along with the environmental and health/safety benefits, the company will also be showcasing its newest product offerings:  the recently launched Wogaard A/B Box and the transformative Wogaard Beacon UV coolant disinfecting solution.

"It’s very exciting to be exhibiting at MACH 2024 for another year,” comments Jason Hutt, Wogaard Ltd’s managing director. “This show is a cornerstone for the manufacturing industry, providing us with a unique platform to showcase our innovative coolant oil saving solutions and our latest product developments that we firmly believe will instigate beneficial changes within the manufacturing industry, especially in the areas of coolant conservation and disinfection.

“It also offers an invaluable opportunity to connect with other industry professionals and discuss how we can work together to drive sustainability in manufacturing."

The Wogaard A/B Box will be on display and operational during the event. This device enables the connection of two vacuum cups to a single Coolant Saver or Oil Saver unit for coolant recovery, a feature that was previously unavailable.

The A/B Box broadens the scope of coolant recovery, enabling automatic collection of residual coolant from two different machine areas at user-customisable time intervals set via two front selectors. The advantages of the Wogaard A/B Box go beyond monetary savings, contributing to better cleanliness and heightened health and safety conditions around the machine and across the workshop floor.

Adding to the anticipation – Wogaard will feature a live demonstration of its Beacon UV coolant disinfection solution on its stand. This innovative solution is designed to manage bacteria growth and density in cutting fluids with low light absorbency, such as soluble coolants which are typically opaque and challenging for UV radiation to penetrate.

The advantages of the Wogaard Beacon UV extend beyond its ability to actively decrease bacteria levels in soluble coolant. It also fosters a more hygienic workspace, minimises the usage of environmentally harmful biocides, prolongs coolant lifespan, and reduces waste, thereby advocating for sustainability in the manufacturing industry.

Adding to the significance of MACH 2024, the Wogaard team will also be commemorating a key achievement attained this year: the global installation of over 10,000 coolant saver units, resulting in a collective saving of 200+ million litres of coolant to date.

It’s been quite a journey from the launch of the company’s first unit just over ten years ago to the installation of many thousands of units now helping companies to reduce their environmental impact, lower costs and prolong the life of their equipment, delivering not only sustainability benefits but also financial benefits and time savings for the manufacturing sector as a whole.

Wogaard coolant oil saving solutions are helping to reduce costs while also lowering the demands of coolant and swarf handling and providing higher swarf value. While Wogaard’s coolant saver units reclaim soluble coolant that accumulates in swarf bins, returning it into the machine's main reservoir, its oil saver units provide the same benefits with neat oil.
